A very easy NO THANKS from Ottawa. They'll find a much better offer, especially if they're retaining 50%.

Would you do Acciari and POJ for Geekie and 4th?

Not sure I want Acciari with his term/AAV and the Bruins retooling status. I also am not sure why Pitt would want Grz at this point, but I could change my mind on that depending on how he does going forward and how the Pens season unfolds.

I would not. Geekie has been playing like a middle 6 center as of late, and he has a cheap RFA contract.

Geekie has seemed to find his game and is playing really well so I don't think he get moved.

I don't think he gets a first, I think this is a close offer and Tarasenko seems to control where he goes to a certain degree at the deadline.

The two prospects are of no interest. The pick is in 3 drafts from now. Not a great offer at all.

Tarasenko may control where he goes, but doesn't mean the Sens have to trade him, or retain on the deal.

Boston can have Tarasenko for a 1st and a 3rd.

If you don't like it, then Ottawa will either trade him elsewhere or sign him to an extension.

I feel like there is another option for him in there that you may be glossing over if no one offers you a 1st and a 3rd...

Come on man, let's not pretend the guy can't just choose to explore free agency. I'm not saying you all have to trade him, but its not like the only options are get exactly what you want or re-sign him. I do agree, however, that the offer in this post is probably too low.

It would be hard for Tarasenko to say no to 5 million x 3 from Ottawa.

With that said, it's a negotiating tactic I employ in AGM.

I like playing hardball every now and then lol.

If the Sens offer him 5mx3, I agree that he would probably take that!

No to any of these trades! There’s enough depth to not have to resort to giving up futures. I’d rather sign Kessel for the money we’re not paying Lucic and see if he can score on the 3rd or 4th line. Don’t know much about POJ…is he THAT much better than Wotherspoon or Mitchell or even Forbort?

Based on the numerous trade proposals on here there are quite a few fanbases who disagree with you.
