Nylander isn’t getting over $10M in Toronto.

Cowan and Minten aren’t making the roster next season - they’re CHL and AHL bound respectively.

Hildeby won’t be the backup next year. He’s had a strong stretch in his AHL start and may deserve a shot at the NHL for a call up, but Toronto will look for a veteran backup that’s capable of playing more games because Woll is too injury prone to be a starter and they won’t rely on such a young tandem when they’re trying to compete.

Don't see why Dumba would get that much money? He had his worst season of his career last year and hasn't exactly done anything to rebuild his stock.

This is what all your insider info is telling you eh? While much of this statement isn't really off base, you have no idea how the kids will play. Minten forced his way onto the team and another year of development will go a long way to cementing his spot. Cowan as a winger could make it next season. It's impossible to say for certain.

I like the idea of Domi returning at 3C if he continues his recent play. But I wouldn't put Minten on LW with the Leafs. Have him with Marlies, first line centre. Kampf at 4C, Holmberg at 5C or 4 LW, might be the start to the season. Minten might be the first call up at centre, but let him play big minutes at his natural position to start his pro career.

that's fair but also could put domi on his left side with the third line too

I feel like playing with Rielly would be a huge help to his ge but his numbers have been really low offensively compared to the usual level he still seems like all other parts of his game are intact with his skating, hitting, puck movement and everything so I do agree might be too much money but still think he can be very effective in the first rd slot with any team even defensively

if it's not in Toronto (which I'm sure it is) he will get $10M I think it's easier knowing Klinger and probably bertuzzi won't be resigned there either...probably not samsonov either.

He's never been all that great defensively though. He's a two way defender who isn't all that good offensively anymore. Seems like a candidate for the good old 1 year show me deal.
