You could get Sturm for a 4th or 5th round pick. You can keep your 2nd and Krebs.

I did Krebs as a C replacement so SJ still would have it for this year, I should’ve put TDL 24. As for the pick, I’m down for only a 4th, but I think it would cost more.

If we can bring in a defensive center like Sturm,
I think it could be really interesting to move Krebs into the top9 to let him show his offensive talent

While he does still have potential, his trade value has surely decreased bc of the way we’ve used him- & i don’t see the sense in “selling low” on him

We obviously like him quite a bit to put him into that role & keep him there for so long
Might be worth it to give him a shot in some more offensive positions- and with linemates who have more offensive skill

I hate that they constantly pair him with Okposo. I don't know if there's a spot for him in the top 9 now either at full health unless they swap him with Greenway, but he's been going too

Okposo has had a handful of good games,
but overall it looks like he’s done- & his decline has clearly been hurting that line in general
Sucks to say, bc he was pretty good for us last year, but i think his time here should be over

I wouldn't include Krebs, a 3rd and Jost should get it done.

I didn't have a problem with Krebs deployment as a defensive forward, he is a tenacious skater, most of the time, and he seems to embrace the role. Playing with fourth liners isn't gonna pump up his offensive stats. I don't like Krebs addition to the trade here, it just seems like adding just because- you have so many prospects and you can't play everybody- which is a ridiculous argument. You can't give away talent like that, and I don't think sturms market value justifies the 2nd round pick, let alone adding Krebs.

I’m all for adding Sturm, but what about playing him with Krebs? I would think Jost and a decent draft pick would be enough to get it done, mostly because he is not a rental. Injuries happen, and seem to keep happening so having depth would be a very good thing.

They really need to start using some of these assets, especially the Decent B prospects in some trades. With as many long term contracts already signed and what is already knocking on the Door. Time to use the plethora of assets to fill a few needed area's. They need another top 3 D, preferably RD with some snarl. And they need some snarl who can still add in there Bottom 6. I would go after Stamkos, he's the type of Mentor and Leadership this young club needs. Need someone who knows what it takes to Win, not Girgensons or Okposo. All they have lead is 7yrs losing.

If you change absolutely nothing with our team except adding a 4th line center you haven't really improved our chances of making the playoffs in such a stacked division/conference. A goalie is desperately needed and Clifton cannot be playing top 4 minutes

Sturm isn’t just a 4th Line C. He’s good enough to play 3 C if injuries. It’s intangibles, FO wins that no one is good at on this team, although I think Cozens could be good.

Okie is still decent for 4th Line, he can still score.

1 change, yeah because the top 2 Lines from last year have only played 2 games together. I still like Girgs for another year. He’s battling injury, but 4th liners on Amerks, Cederqvist, Kozak and for sure Nadeou could still use more time in the AHL.
