not a CHI fan but I cant imagine them or anyone taking on Huby awful contract. a 1st in 2 years and and couple middle/late rounds and losing solid 24yo middle 6 too I got to believe CHI blocks CAL number

No chance the Hawks take this trade. You are gonna have to retain Half and include more/better picks to dump him. And you won't get Kurashev even then. This is a horrible deal and provides no value to Hawks.

Hawks easily decline. Even at $8m, for another 7 years, that contract is going to be horrible. Having $17.5m in cap hit tied up in Hubby and Jones for the next 7 years would be terrible cap management.

Woof... That just isn't happening. And this is why I don't want CHI to sign Nylander either. We'd give him what he wants and in two years he'll come back down to earth and we'll be stuck with 6 more years at an insane cap hit. I feel for CGY, I really do, but I don't think there is anything you could give us that would get this done.
