Underpaid for Lindholm

1. Girard + 2nd + 3rd is a laughable offer for Lindholm
2. You are at least 2M short on his next contract, he will get at least 8M

I would be shocked if Lindholm took less than $7.5M AAV - realistically he's probably at $8M

Lindholm probably wants 9+ million on a 4 year deal. Lindholm should get a slightly better return than horvat got last year. Like a first and an A prospect. Don’t think the Avs even have any A level prospects.

He would be a pure rental. I see the trade being very similar to the horvat trade as well. a 1st, middle prospect and either a player with salary to offset that in the trade or another pick for some retention i'd assume the max deal we'd give is a first, behrens or oskar and a 3rd and maybe the 5th we got for tatar for retention

lindholm would 100% be a rental, not an extension. Cannot afford him after this year even if we move girard & ryjo at a realistic contract.

Avs could resign him if landeskog goes back on LTIR for whatever reason.

He wouldn’t more than Horvat. Hes having a down year and even last year had a normal 2c year while Horvat was in the middle of an over point per game season

That’s simply not true. Rantanen will likely get 2-3 million dollar raise and the cap is gonna jump more than that that offseason. We likely let Georgie go as well and replace with possibly annunen. Byram will also warrant a raise probably 2-3 as well unless he really breaks out. Loc will need a raise as well

Even if avs give rantenen an extension it don't kick in till 2025-2026 season.
