Necas would be a great addition. Has the potential for playing further up the lineup. Its the cost that worries me, which what you have is probably fair value. I have a hard time selling the future though. Especially Silov's who will be he heir apparent for Demko. Also, there are bigger priorities for me, such as a puck moving RHD. I'm conflicted but I would consider moving Kuzmenko as part of such a deal.

not only that but they would have to off load both Kuzy and Garland in the offseason without taking contracts back to pay to resign him and the rest of the RFAs.

Tough to give up those pieces but I would probably do it. Necas is a long term difference maker.

Why would you trade Hoglander and Silovs plus a first round 2025 pick?
Personally I’m a big fan of Hoglander and Silovs, but losing two future players would hurt.
