Interesting point. I think it's still pretty fair because Guentzel is probably the better overall player and Nedeljkovic has more experience than Woll.

You can argue that Guentzel = Nylander (although I doubt that you'd convince anyone, incl me), but certainly the two thirds would balance out the difference if you think that Guentzel is BETTER (whom would you rather re-sign?), but in what alternate universe does Nedeljkovic = Woll? Never mind the first and Minten. (Isn't he on the Canadian junior team next month?)

Ned doesn’t have a 1/5 the value of woll, Jake and Willy aren’t even close in value add a first and a second to Jake and maybe id do it but not likely and then minten is worth a first right there this makes zero sense and the leafs would never do it

Player A (Guentzel) is clearly the better player. The only thing Nylander has is youth (for his next contract) but that also comes with the caveat that Nylander will want more money.

I think Guentzel is more valuable than Nylander but not a 1st (or multiple 1sts) more valuable.

Leafs dont really need either of these guys....

What they need is a top 4 RD
