I’d take Mercer and Poitras out to start. Also, NJD are looking for a dman. Not actively looking for a goalie. Here we would lose a dman.

U think NJ has any interest in Griz? Ik his value isnt great but BOS should be shopping him and I assume NJ needs Dmen and a Goalie

ehhhh. Maybe at the right price, but he doesn't kill penalties and is getting less and less minutes, which is concerning.

yeah he hasnt been great, just coming back from LTIR he has not been great hence his drop in ice time (even w McAvoy out)

Nemec,Luke,Dougie: offensive weapons
Bahl,Siegs,Marino: defensive stoppers

Nemec and Luke are good defensively but still make rookie mistakes that can be costly

Bahl is decent but can't handle the very tough minutes marino plays (eg. McDavid stopper).

So if I'm going after someone it's a quality defensive top 4LD, who's excellent on the PK and a strong puck mover.

Taking Vanecek is like retaining $2m on Ullmark.

I’d consider Vanecek and Mercer for Ullmark and a first. Otherwise, there really is no point in discussing a trade with New Jersey.
