No chance I take Campbell’s contract for less then two 1st round picks, he has become an AHL goalie with one
Of the worst contracts… he is unplayable, so you have to burying him in the minors or buy him out.

I also would not be ready to bail on Soderblom yet, with Campbell being a non factor, he will still be needed in Chicago.

Dickinson was one of my possible additions last off season, however with the current state of the team being full of bottom six forwards and lacking a top six forward, I don't think acquiring another one is the best idea.

Uh Panarin, Bobrovsky, Pietrangelo, Gaudreau, and like you said Tavarves. It happens all the time, and I just can't see 5 players being tied up with 10 million-dollar contracts. Nylander is going to the team that offers him the biggest money. Also, good luck believing in Brad when he let Gaudreau walk.

Comparing the tax rates to the United States and Canada, Nylander would significantly earn more from a team within the United States than Toronto, even if Toronto offered him slightly more money.

While Tampa should address the defense first, Dickinson is a good target as well if they look to add depth at F. It seems he can play on the 2nd line as well as the 3rd. Tampa won't be able to add any true top 6 forwards given their cap space and lack of higher end draft picks(unless they move the '26 1st or later), so a player like JD fits well with what they likely are able to do.
