Doesn’t make sense for a team with a better prospect pool for defense than Detroit (one of very few) to trade Gibson for an excess positional strength. Conversely, Wallinder has a chance to be very impactful for Detroit, as could the potential 1st rounder.

@Coachcoach hit the nail on the head, using a LD as the prospect of interest doesn't work for Anaheim, we have better options internally.

Scoring RW is of interest, as it's our weakest spot.
