I'm happy with 11 of our forwards (Haula Hughes Nico Bratt Meier Mercer Palat Mcleod Lazar Toffoli Holtz), and one of Bastian/Smith/Nosek should be able to fill the 12th role. Just need them to get healthy so we can get the AHL scrubs like tierney/laberge/willman out of the lineup

Hughes-Miller pairing I love, and I'd like to see Siegs-Marino as a shutdown pair. But need someone better than Bahl on the left ideally, and ig now a dougie "replacement" on the right. Ideally puck movers who can kill penalties and are sound defensively.

And then I like schmid as a 1A. Just need a 1B to fill the gap. Kahkonen, Allen, Mrazek, lankinen, Stolarz, Lyon, Reimer, etc etc etc. Anybody works, ideally not expensive term tho

Just can't see the Caps trading Miroshnichenko. He could be in the NHl by the end of this year and I believe they're very weary about trading for another older center who could end up as another Backstrom.

Edit: also hard to see them going all in with all the question marks about the team. Especially in net.

I can’t see Miro moving. He along with McMichael and Leonard are the future of this team. Couture also probably isn’t exactly what the caps are looking for given his injury concerns, his age, and production.

why would the caps trade a top prospect for a 34 yo who hasn't played a single game this year and has 3 more years on his deal. they already have a version of that guy in pacioretty that they signed for nothing on a 1x2!!!! I legitimately don't think they take him for free let alone give up anything for him.

Would really love to stop seeing Lindholm, Hertl, Couture to the Caps ACGMS. They will never make any sense
