Personally, I'm not a fan of either Vancouver trade or the Toronto trade. Borgen, Tolvanen, Tanev, and Kartye are worth more than that, and are more useful to the Kraken as players than trade chips. None of them are pending UFAs anyway, so even if Seattle doesn't make the playoffs this year, they would still be valuable contributors to the team in what would likely be a planned return to the postseason next year. As for the Tampa trade, while it would be nice to get a second round pick for Yamamoto, I doubt he has that much value right now.
