Rakell makes $5M and Anderson makes $5.5, so do you want to give me another math lesson, ****? Yes, Rakell has ONE more year on his contract. That's negligible when you consider how much the cap will be by then. So yeah, never trust a Canadian with math apparently.

I'd say go add up the numbers between Rakell's production and Anderson's production over the last five years, but you've already proven you're inept at simple addition. Not to mention Anderson actually sucks at hockey and Rakell is actually good. Anderson is physical, that's it. He's an abyss defensively and terrible at driving offense except for himself.

In the last five seasons, Rakell has 170 points. Anderson has 94. Before you go in to how many games played, Anderson has .4 PPG in that time and Rakell has .6 PPG and again, he actually offers a real semblance of a 200ft game away from the puck while Anderson does not. So yeah, Rakell has better production, a better 200ft game and is cheaper. Sure, MTL should say no LOL
