I don't think Power should be included in any deal. With that said one of Tage or Cozens, plus a plethora of top end prospects, like Savoie, plus maybe Ostlund, plus Olofsson. Add a first and a 2nd.

I would do the first one, that's basically what makes sense for both teams. I'd keep Bouchard out, rather look for d replacements elsewhere. Not really interested in the second trade, plus it's likely one of those pieces would end up being moved to address the hole on defense.

I'm not in the johnson hype train yet, if we have to replace a piece like power, and management is gonna sell us on jokiharju and Ryan johnson, I'd be perfectly fine walking away and letting somebody else get crazy for mcdavid. For me, Edmonton is gonna want a high end d, and a 21 year old first overall pick is certainly a high end piece, but that absolutely requires shopping for a pair of top 4 d, the kind that actually play d, and lean on the opposing team more than our current d.
