If we’re selling at the deadline then we’re not worried about cap space. You can send a player back if you need but again that’s not what I’m worried about here, I just wanted to see if this is adequate value. Plus if you’re team is going on a championship run you’re most likely gonna add at the deadline, let alone if injuries occur

Seems fair? Not surely entirely but I'm not appalled but also kinda wonder if the Isles wouldn't rather a player closer to playing in the NHL like Brisson

Love Nelson but COL isn’t paying the equivalent of 2 1st rd picks and not moving cap space out to make it work.

Easy no for the Avs as they don't have cap space and need the pieces traded as the cupboard is still pretty bare.

Probably a fair trade offer but Vegas doesn't need a player like Nelson

Avs would do everything possible to not send Ritchie imo. He's their only legitimate prospect with 2C potential.

A counter would probably be something like the 1st, Johansen, and a different prospect not named Ritchie or Kovalenko. Retention won't need to be as high since Johansen is going to the Isles here for whatever that's worth.
