Yea that condition isn't happening for 2 reasons. Its illegal(resign conditions are banned) and CGY won't be trading there 1st(hopefully) and at least retooling and this isn't what they need ATM. I'd rather get picks/prospects for Zadorov

4. Leafs fleece you

Sharks aren't accepting a rental for a rental straight up. They would need a pick. Maybe a 3rd, probably a 2nd.

Brannstrom would not be a rental because he's a RFA instead of a UFA next year.

Even then, the sharks would probably want someone who will be around a little longer or a good pick. Maybe you just attach a 4th and it gets done.

Chabot being injured has been showing how badly he is missed. Chabot is NOT the problem in Ottawa. The GM was and the coaching staff still is.

Brannstrom turned 24 y/o just before the season. He could be with the Sharks 10+ years...

That would be an excellent trade for the Sharks and a very stupid one for Ottawa. Brannstrom would probably be the Sharks best D-man.
