The value is close... but you're wrong about Lindholm; he is a two-way center (and a shooter, not a passer).
And, if he's aged for a rebuild, why wouldn't the Flames just keep him for their own impending rebuild?

The Philly - Lindholm concept is bizarre to me. A center who is entering a contract year would not want to join a team in the early stages of a rebuild.

While I agree, with Cutter coming next year and hopefully Bonk Michkov the year after it’s not exactly far fetched. It’s like Johnny Hockey going to Columbus last year.

The Laughton trade is still terrible the 1st round pick they would have gotten is worth more than that pile of scraps. If they can’t get a 1st for Laughton anymore I don’t think they move him at all. I also think Walker gets more if he keeps playing the way he is playing.

Guess you haven’t seen panthers cap space. Plus the last thing they need is a 13th d man on the roster.
