Saros would be for the right price. Doubt we should be looking at a 29yo Guentzel when we're amidst a rebuild/retool. Moving Saros takes us right out of the playoffs so this trade is very counterintuitive.

A UFA, an AHLer, and a 3rd not even in the next draft…

You would have to trade Jarry for something and trade Guentzel somewhere else, then send picks / prospects gained to Nash. That would get you Saros (might need to add some). Not sure about the prospect.

Guentzel would get an A prospect and a 1st
Jarry would get you... something (2nd or 3rd)

A 1st + A prospect + 2nd + 3rd + Smith = Saros

Don't know how we possibly move Jarry. I don't disagree and not saying it's impossible, I just don't know how

If we go for Saros, Jarry has to be part of the deal or moved. IMO if going for Saros they should send Jarry and a second (or a first depending on how high Nashville thinks Jarry is worth). Could also add a guy like Joseph to that deal, as it seems that he has lost his spot to Shea
