Nothing has been leaked $ wise other than they were close but now talks have halted. My guess, with recent D deals, $6.5M could get it done but I bet Hanafin is asking for at least. $7M

Chabot and Weegar are very similar defensemen. In no world is the difference between them a first. Also Chabot is younger.

Dude, Ottawa is top 10 in the league in numerous offensive categories. There defensive play has been fine so far. Best it's been in about 6 years.

Goaltending has been fine and will get better. Not to mention from January to March from last year they were a top 10 team in hockey.

Calgary doesn't want Chabot. Weegar can actually defend (very well in fact) and plays a physical game too.

The Tanev trade is fine the rest are all selling low.
