I'd personally take that for CBJ, assuming you can flip Myers at the deadline for at least a 2nd. I'd like to see CBJ get a 5th or even a 4th instead of the 6th for the risk of assumed future assets, but the premise and approximate value is fine.

If Calgary decides to rebuild that could work for Tanev otherwise Calgary declines. Yet another smallish left shot LW (and an overpaid LW at that) is about the last thing Calgary needs.

Definitely predicated on the rebuilding or at least giving up on the season. I don't think they keep Beau. He's on 1-year contract, they would trade him on for further value.

If the Canucks trade a 1st it's going to be for a player 28 or under that is going to positively contribute for at least the next half decade. I like Tanev and think the Canucks should peruse him in the offseason if he's available, but I certainly wouldn't trade a first for him based on where Vancouver is at.
