I wanted ROR and Morgan Geekie. I was hoping for Kampf to come instead of Acciari as well but I can’t be too picky on that one. At the end of the day we have the team we have and it’s a team that fits Sully. The fact that this team is turning over pucks and giving up odd man rushes left and right should shock absolutely no one. I’m convinced now that we are going to stick with this brand of hockey all year and if/when we miss the playoffs again the only wake up call I can see a veteran roster getting is to change the coach.

Your exactly right. When the roster is built to fit the coach yet the same problems as last year still exist then that falls on the coach. We need more defensive structure. Playing a speed system with a team that is still incredibly skilled but not close to the fastest in the league is not maximizing our roster to the best of their abilities.

This has been clear to those of us paying attention for at least 3 years now. Dubas has no ties to Sully and if anyone will pull the plug to send a message he should be the guy.

He really struggles with his systems, they don’t work half the time & that’s when he has to throw stuff at the wall & hope it sticks, I think Treliving will get rid of him, If the Leafs go on a bad losing streak, I’d also be curious to hear your perspective as an opposing fan on Sheldon Keefe as a coach?

I follow the Leafs closer than most non-leafs fans because if I have a second team it’s be them. I agree Keefe is exactly what you described him to be and I think Toronto could move on under the circumstances you gave. I do think you have a problem there with your ownership and with Shanny to some degree. I know Dubas was the fall guy and wore out his welcome but I think the problems for the leafs are deeper than a coach or a GM.

For BOS, Geekie has more upside and they need the youth...
