By the way, Sens can't afford to do this... Yes they save 0.6 AAV with a Brannstrom-Harris swap (but is a downgrade) but then add 2.225 by having Dvorak, which is like THE reason why Pinto isn't signed right now (Dorion has no idea what he is doing though)
I appreciate the effort but not what the Sens would be looking for and there's been way better offers made by other fanbases.

My thinking was that Ottawa wants player more than future pick since you guys are opening your winning window. Dvorak is a good 3C and at 2,225M cap hit will be cheaper than Pinto. Harris is a upgrade on Brannstrom from a defensive perspective and is carrying a 1.4M cap hit. You guys have enough offensive defenseman with Chabot, Chuchrun and Sanderson.
I didn't consider Dvorak because don't really ant him but at 2.225 it wouldn't be bad and the contract expires after next season. Could be a decent stop gap but at the same time, if Pinto is not there, Greig is 100% the 3rd line center, he's already quite good and just turned 21 y/o
Brannstrom is NOT an offensive D-man at all, he's a 2-way PMD who is excellent in recoveries and transition. Harris is 10 months younger so maybe he builds on a pretty decent last year but Brannstrom was better. Look at the red dot for 2022-23 :
