McCabe is getting better game by game, Gio same thing tbh,Klingberg wasn’t awful yesterday & same with Brodie, it’s more an issue of imo that 4th line, they were on for both goals against

You arent getting Pelech or Pulock (NTCs) or Dobson. But everyone else is up for grabs.

Toronto looks like it needs RD which we lack but a Romanov deal could work. Aho has low value but easily could boom in a real offense like Toews did. Odelius is a good prospect and Bolduc is very solid.

I really dont see a deal working out where Toronto gets the value it wants, but i guess I could see:

Romanov, Wahlstrom, 2024 top 5 protected 1st, 2nd and like Clutterbuck or something. I know the value is low there but thats really all I could see NY having to offer. Leafs best off going elsewhere imo

You're right when you say Nylander's trade value would be high now.
But really it's the same old nonsensical assessment of the the Leafs. Last two games, the Leafs have scored a goal in each game. So somehow it's always the the fault of the Dmen that the Leafs are losing.

Domi, Jarnkrok, Bertuzzi are supposed to be part of the supporting cast and have been invisible. Knies has looked ok but needs skilled guys to play with, top 6 a must. The leafs aren't expecting much offence from the rest of the lineup.

The D is no where near a top tier D…you can’t form one decent pair out of the 7…I doubt it looks anything like this by March, def not by July.

It’s interesting how we all come on here and make these trades and think they will solve all issues (ya me too)…and really I think the issue is coaching and management.

Those 5 nervous minutes together is what cost the game, they allowed both goals on relatively simple plays with bafflingly bad mistakes, I also don’t know how people keep blaming Keefe, he isn’t the one playing, his game-plans & strategies are only as good as the people trying to do it
