Exactly nothing about that is interesting for the Blues.

Klingberg has a NTC and so does Parayko, will they both waive idk. Matthews and Marner are on the #1 PK unit together and the leafs will lead the league in shorthanded goals. If the leafs make a trade for a top d-man they have to be able to play on the top unit in every situation. Brodie isn't a top pairing guy and couldn't out hit a 90 year old or move them from in front of the net. Can't wait till next year when Brodie is long gone

Blues have Binnington and Hofer so don't need Samsonov. Trading parayko leaves a huge hole in our defense and i'm not interested in Klingberg. Lily and a 1st is ok but the blues have little desire to trade Parayko

Not sure I understand the hate for Brodie who while not a top pair guy is still one of the better defenders in the game. He's 100% not the problem. And I'd rather Matthews conserve his energy for even strength as not sure he has the endurance and energy of guys like Marner or Marchand who can PK and still drive the bus offensively.

As much has I'd love for this to happen, I have to agree as that's probably not something you entertain unless out of the playoff hunt and in any event Parayko would have final say.

None of this works for the Blues, man. Parayko is not available, they have zero use for Klingberg and Samsonov and the Blues can't afford this offer anyway. Gonna need to find another Dman to chase.

but it doesn't work, we arent gonna trade Parayko. he's got a NTC and has said many times before he has no interest in leaving STL unless its to Edmonton to be close to home
