There's a few flaws in your logic.
1) Fleury is bringing back more than a couple of 7th's given his pedigree, his capability to still be a solid #2 goaltender, and the still rather large need for goaltending in the league.
His value is roughly around a 3rd or 4th right now.
2) Pittsburgh isn't trading Yager, their best prospect, for Fleury straight up. Especially when Yager's value is equivalent to a 1st round pick.
So Fleury (a 3rd/4th), for Yager (1st), isn't remotely close.
3) Even IF Yager for Fleury straight up were possible. Why in the absolute f*** would Minnesota move him for less than his value, just so the acquiring team could turn around and move him for 4x the value?
Make sense.
IF it were possible, they would just move Fleury to Pittsburgh directly and acquire Yager for themselves.
