Toronto is a possible desination if Nylander is going the other way. Knies + Minten or one of them + a 1st for Hanifin @50% retained could work too.

I’m higher on the need for a guy like Liljegren than Knies or Minten personally. I’d even take Jarnkrok back in the deal for Liljegren

Knies is interesting, but I don’t see the need for Minten whatsoever. Abruzzese is a guy worth considering given his link to Coronato

I'll take the bigger better Minten over Arbruzzi. Calgary needs more forwards in the system with some size not more little guys. Both Knies and Minten are NHL ready now too while Arbruzzi isn't even close and may never be. Trading Hanifin for Minten + Knies would also free up a nice chunk of cap space.

Lilly is ok but he's nothing special just another 3rd pair D. In Calgary he'd be the 4th RD behind Andersson Weegar and Tanev. If we trade Tanev picking Lilly up to replace him would make sense. I think the team will extend Tanev if he agrees to a 2 year contract for less than he makes now. I don't think they should extend him just that they will try to.
