That won't even give them enough cap space to sign Pinto. If Joseph gets traded it will be for his entire contract, no retention. Either way, Joseph has positive value at $2.15 million.

Pinto is not signing for under $2.5 million. And yes, Joseph absolutely does have positive value at 2.15 right now.

I run polls on another forum and Sens fans have voted Joseph as one of the 3 stars in 2 of the 3 games played. The hype from this summer and training camp is getting confirmed a little bit more each day. He's a pure beast on the PK too, you just don't trade that. 2.95 AAV is nothing. Just Dorion being a bit incompetent as usual.

So the boat for paying to move Joseph has most likely sunk already, the one for trading him without paying anything might have sunk as well
