A team cannot accrue cap space gained by using LTIR…so if you want more space at deadline and don’t need the roster spot today, keep ‘em off LTIR.

In beginning of 2010-11 Devils iced 10F, 5D, 1G (no backup) for cap reasons in a game against PIT

Well ... Its not my first choice however Coach Connor is calling the shots and that is what appears to be what he wants.
It could work but I wouldn't hesitate to put Kane with Drai or Nuge moving Holloway and Foegele up as a means of creating some balance throughout the lines

He's not calling the shots dude, the trio played very well all preseason. It's one game, they will be fine.

I wouldn't mind seeing a "Get Your **** Together Line" of Kane-Nuge-Brown. In reference to injuries and playoff performances lol
