Description

I really like Oskar Sundqvist as a 4th line center option, I think with some great veteran experience in Ryan, and Janmark, I think the Oilers have a pretty deep 4th line. I thought about doing a player swap, but honestly I think a pick is what St. Louis wants. I think it's a fair trade, but I'm not sure if St. Louis does this yet, they may want to see how he plays this season to maximize return at the trade deadline.

I just don't like the Oiler's current center depth for that 4th Line. The only other way I could see a 4th line maybe working is you sign Maxime Comtois to a league minimum deal, and then move Janmark to the right side, and Ryan to the center. Then you would have Lavoie and Comtois fight it out for that last spot on the left side. But like Kenney and Woody said, ideally, the perfect fit is a 4th Line Center.

Oskar wants to be in stl and the blues like having him back. Don't know why they would trade him now. Maybe at the TDL but I doubt it

Blues just wont move Sundqvist. I'm not sure if he had other offers or not. But it was pretty public about his desire to be here, can't see Doug backdooring him regardless of the compensation unless he wants to move which is highly doubtful. He was also always a fan and coach favorite here, also played really well under Berube like Barbashev and Blais.

Ya no way the Blues accept this. He wanted to be on the Blues, so he literally took a league minimum contract to go back. Could of gotten more from another team.
I would of loved for the Oilers to sign him, but can't seem him getting moved.
