We already have too many wingers, so i think the Jackets pass. If we arent using our assets in a package to get a center or goalie improvement, then futures are really the only thing that makes sense.

my thinking was podz could spend season on your farm team and you replace bemstrom with garland and can push Danforth out of the top 6 and clears up your rhd logjam

CBJ have a plethora of bottom six forwards. Garland would be a decent pickup to upgrade the middle-6 if he was on a one-year deal, but I don't want to take on three years of him because we're going to need our cap space to re-sign Johnson, Marchenko, Texier and others.

Raty for Peeke I would take.

Not really, we have better prospects. When i say package to get a center, im more talking about immediate top 6 center help. Although, if Laine works as center that may not be as big of a need.

Favors CBJ. If Peeke could be had for Garland straight up, that'd be fine. Just feels like a bit much for another bottom 6 winger and bottom pair RHD. I like Peeke but I like him more than his true worth given the huge hole with Hughes.

So Bemstrom might not be in the lineup, and if he is it would be temporary, and Danforth is definitely not in the top 6. our top 6 will be Johnny, Laine, Marchenko, Johnson, Texier, and Fantilli.
