awful return for tavares, especially if you're replacing him with a player who is significantly worse than him who absolutely cannot play center in domi and then some of those contracts, woof. 4 mill for zadorov? he's a bottom pairing defender on a bad team.

Massive changes? A team that currently has 11 UFAs only adds 3 players not wearing the blue and white now?

Some big underpayments just to maintain status quo?

And if liljegren in his 7th pro season hasn;t had a break through and is deemed expendable in TOR (with a really old defense) what makes you think he gets that package back?
