C’mon, man. CBJ aren’t giving away Jenner, especially in that package.

he seems pretty toxic being the company man in that locker room with him saying the Babcock stuff was nothing in front of the cameras while in that same locker room players telling the NHLPA or Biz nasty otherwise
and " giving away Jenner " for Savoie, Jokiharju and Jost is a bit much considering Savoie was taken 9th overall last year

I don’t know how much you can read into what players are saying about Babcock. He could be downplaying it publicly to try to defuse the media circus while defending his teammates in private. Putting that aside, this is an interesting proposal. You’ve got a young team that appears to be one small step away from making the playoffs offering one of their top prospects for a veteran leader whose contract is probably about right for his age and ability. Maybe they’re at the point in their development now where futures are no longer a priority, and they think Jenner could provide a missing piece that might take them to the next level.

Columbus is a bit harder to figure out. They have a bunch of recent early 1st-round draft picks that Savoie should fit in with nicely, but they seem to be trying to build a core in their late 20s and early 30s, presumably to try to get back into the playoffs sooner rather than later. If that’s their strategy then they probably want to hang onto Jenner, but if I was running that team, I’d find it hard to resist a chance to add to that prime prospect pool.

that's what I thinking
the Sabres are on the brink of the playoffs and a player like Jenner would help the young players and put the Sabres over the top and Columbus may be looking for a new GM with their current GM making some questionable coaching hires before Babcock

Transparent, disingenuous, bull****. We all know he was addressing the direct accusation from Biz that Babcock had taken Boone's phone and gone through his photos. He didn't address anything other than his own interaction with Babcock since that's what was brought up on the podcast that day.

Boone is going to stick around in Columbus for a long time.

Uh huh, tell me more.....gtfoh with that narrative. Jenner was stating his opinion on what he experienced. Now all these Canadian fans and their OriGiNAl 6 markets want to ridicule Columbus and call Jenner a company man. Go pack sand.

I’m just gonna assume you didn’t follow any of their as closely as you might have and not address how mistaken your take is.
