Point and Eichel are better than you have them.

Nylander is too low.

Way too much credit for some prospects that haven’t played in the NHL, or didn’t perform well when they have played. Also, why is Toews on the list when he isn’t even playing?

Petterson is not on that level

Maybe a touch below. It's really hard to fairly grade Pettersson. He puts up 100 points and plays a solid two-way game but unlike Mack/Matthews he doesn't have a solid supporting cast around him.

I think there is a fair argument that if you replaced Matthews or Pettersson the leafs would be better. I'm entering the realm of speculation here but it's a fun mental exercise.

No, the Leafs were barely a top 10 team in GFs but had a top 2 PP and had their franchise player play on 1 wrist... With for a quarter of the year, the forward core was trying to carry a defensive core with Justin Holl as the number 1 defensemen... So please... keep using GF to determine your point when you know it's mostly bc of a fantastic power play which consists of 4 forwards of the 9 which narrows the gap profusely into a 10 goal differential and with the caveats above... I think it's funny that the Oilers aren't as good as they appear

To add, the Oilers play such a horrible defensive game, it's nice to see you change the subject...

Toronto dealt with AHL defensemen for 1/4 of a season and the franchise centre was playing with 1 wrist for the season; fact
Toronto got significantly better than they were at the start of 22-23; fact
Edmonton finished 17th in GA last season despite playing in the Pacific division; fact
