Husso is much better than Korpisalo/Forsberg.
Last 3 seasons (Averages):
Korpisalo: .896 save percentage, 3.14 GAA, 4 Shutouts
Husso: .902 SV percentage, 2.93 GAA, 7 Shutouts
Forsberg: .909 SV percentage, 3.09 GAA, 3 Shutouts.
Husso did better over the last three years. The only stat he lose to is SV percentage, and Forsberg beats him on that. Everything else Husso has done better in over the past 3 seasons. So based on statistics over the last three years, calling Korpisalo/Forsberg better than Husso is a big stretch.
It’s a bit useless to look at goalie stats without context… GAA doesn’t mean that much, it depends what the team in front of you allows in terms of scoring chances.
Look at where Husso and Forsberg played for their stats… Forsberg has been nothing short of excellent behind a rebuilding team.
For Korpisalo, the first 2 years of your sample is BEFORE his hip surgery. He was excellent last season and might be just that going forward
