Hawks decline. Myers is a cap dump, and ABB isn't a good enough piece to even cover taking Myers cap hit. Let alone getting a 4th in return? No chance. Myers costs a 6th to dump. Bolts can keep ABB. Hawks will keep their 4th.

You could flip the 4th to coming to the Hawks and I would probably still pass because the Hawks hold Tampa's 1st and anything that might even remotely help Tampa and potentially diminish the value of that pick is a nonstarter for me. As proposed, Myers & AB-B achieve nothing for a rebuilding Hawks and thinking they would send a 4th for that duo is absurd. You're more than welcome to play AB-B on the 2nd line.

Tampa probably keeps ABB to see if he can earn a spot. Myers has no value, but it shouldn't take much to move him. If Chicago doesn't want him, that's fine, but let's not act like the Hawks would be doing Tampa some huge favor or drastically helping them(in regards to the upcoming 1st rd pick). Tampa will easily be able to run a 22 player roster, and finding a place to trade Myers opens 250k in cap and allows them to run a 23rd player if they want. A 6th or a 7th should be more than enough to dump him, as the acquiring team can either make the trade with the idea of actually having him on the roster as a 6/7, or they can do what Tampa is going tondo, and bury him in ghe AHL for the 250k hit. 250k for one year is worth at best a 6th, and it could just be a 7th or a FC type deal.
