Every time someone posts one of these trades they piss off a fanbase. This one is terrible for NJ.

There is no Quinn Hughes trade that works for both sides.

As a non-NJD fan and hearing all these rumors about the 3 brothers wanting to play together, I'd guess the NJD front office is trying at least a little to make it happen.

As a neutral guy I'd say Holtz and Nemec for Hughes would probably be the highest I go but, it still feels like giving up a lot.

Quinn will be a Devil when free agency comes along. Too expensive in a trade and this is a massive overpay

Of course they'd want Quinn but with their other players who are getting paid, they need ELCs to get by in the meantime.

As a Canucks fan, as much as I love Quintin, if Mercer is expected to keep his pace up (and the FO believed he could with players like JT and Boeser on his wings) and you can add Nemec, you'd have to think long and hard about it.
