Jacob Bernard-Docker 100% won't hit waivers unless he completely lost it during the summer. He just got a 1 way 2 years extension and is in the plans as a defensive RHD, which is a need
Lassi Thomson however doesn't seem to be in the plans. As of a ridiculous amount of 13 players will need PP time so even if they trade one (Kubalik makes the most sense), Thomson still wouldn't sniff a PP minute. He's not a bad prospect at all, actually got a pretty nice offensive skillset but might never be more than "ok" defensively. He will need PP to show his value in the NHL. Ideally, and that's what I would target as the GM, he's traded for a young forward prospect in the same waivers position
