I don't buy it. He gets to decide where he goes but I don't think he slams the door shut on a trade. If Dubas can find him a team he'll waive for & use a 3rd team to make the transaction smoother than why not try. Carter isn't it and the cap could be much better spent. It's his last year whether he wants to help the Pens or hurt them.
