I believe he's played center and he's really fast and with also having Veleno at 4C they are really fast down the middle.

I watched 76 Canucks games last year, so yes I know what to expect from Martin. We also have Silovs who played really well in the AHL and at the World Cup this year and Tolopilo who looks promising.

I would be really happy to see Van add Dube. I don't like the idea of the 2 second rounders but maybe the ask would be lower if not including Vladar. Maybe the Martin magic can return in the 20 games he'd be ask to play behind Demko.

Don't see Yzerman mortgaging the future let alone admitting Chiarot as a mistake that quickly

Dube isn't a big enough upgrade on Beauvillier(if an upgrade at all) to warrant giving up that much draft capital, not that the Canucks should be trading anymore 2nds to begin with, and Vladar is an expiring contract, so there isn't enough value there to make up the difference

I don't hate the Nylander trade, but I think Treliving probably either wants one of those 2nds upgraded to a 1st, or a better prospect than Zary to say yes, unless Nylander is forcing his way to Calgary by declaring that he won't sign long-term anywhere else

I think Coleman says no to the Sharks trade, he's got one more year with a full NTC. I doubt he's ready to uproot his family at this time regardless of where things stand in the Flames organization

Vladar isn't worth more than a 3rd imo, and Dube is at absolute best, a minor upgrade on Beau. Also, Dube's analytics suggest that he doesn't actually contribute as much offensively as some might be lead to believe, but that he actually happens to be a product of his teammates in the ozone, more often than not

He would be an upgrade on Martin and Dube would be an upgrade on Beauvillier, it's the cost of the upgrade for the positions they play that I don't think makes sense for Vancouver.

Look at Detroit before Yzerman took over as GM. Holland gave out NTCs like they were Pez.
