Description

Legit if the Sens don't make the playoffs this year Dorion and DJ are sent to the moon. Joseph gets traded but as of right now I'm unsure of whether or not Brannstrom gets dealt, I think he won't, if he does Kleven takes his spot and pairs up with JBD and Hamonic becomes that 7th D. If I did **** let me know.

I think we'll get at least something back for Joseph and not just a Future Considerations trade. He is still an effective penalty killer with great speed and some skill. On a team like Chicago, he'd get more ice time and therefore higher production. But don't expect much back, as Chicago knows that we need to create space so they'd have most of the leverage in this scenario.

And McEwen will be the 13th and replaced by a veteran 4th liner

Why don’t they just place Forsberg on LTIR. It would clear 2.75M and that would be huge. Wouldn’t be forced to move Joseph. Forsberg is seriously injured too

I believe that Forsberg is healthy or close to being 100%, so I don't think they could place him there, but it is an option to trade him and have Sogaard as the backup but it's highly unlikely

I just like they idea of a big 4th line that forechecks hard every shift but yeah that spot will but up for grabs (Smejkal, Crooshank, Sokolov)

I just don't think Kelly will win the spot with Smejkal, Sokolov, Crookshank and even others like Jarventie, Ostapchuk and even Tyler Boucher since Pierre has a hard one for him. Kelly is simply out classed by these other guys. But as a 4th liner he'd fit in better than most players I've listed and tbh I wouldn't be mad that he played because I like him and he is on a 1-way contract like you said.

Amen! But at the same time, I don't sign the checks. There's speculation that new ownership will manage things differently.

I'd be fine with Kelly as the 13th forward but Dorion also signed MacEwen. I would want just one to be the 13th and only play when injuries...
