Well it doesn't 20 man roster, six NHL Dman and you have Timmins playing in the top6. Wouldn't you rather have Liljegren at 1.4m rather than Romanov at 2m? What happened to Giordano?

Isles would decline....We gave up the 13th overall pick for him. He's a 23 yr old Top 4 Dman who likes to throw the body.

If Gio is chilling with Tre, I assume this means he has retired. As a 35+ signing, I believe that means his cap remains even if he retires, so now the issues really become compounded.

I genuinely wanna free up a spot for Timmins, I bet he turns into a top 4 guy. You could do it without trading anyone though

It's tough to figure out what the leafs will do on defense. Rielly isn't going anywhere. Liljegren is the best young defender the leafs have. McCabe has a great contract for 2 more years. Klingburg was just signed. Idk how big of a move they will make this season but the 24-25 season will have a big change on the d-core.
