This is only based of the rumor that EK does not want to play with Burns and basically the Canes going with EK over Burns.

Fair enough but Burns is a staple in the Canes lineup now. EK is a luxury. You usually don’t exchange the two unless you are Toronto.

Why are the Hawks taking three years of Vlasic to get one year of Turbo? I'm not even sure why the Hawks would be involved in this trade.

Three years of Vlasic for a 2nd round pick? Don’t think so, it will cost San Jose more then that to move his contract.

And there is no chance Carolina trades Teravainen for a 2nd and Blackwell.

I think he will only play part of that 3 years before he "retires to LTIR"
