All are on the awful side for Winnipeg. Those would all be no from Winnipeg.

Canes would have to pass on Nino. We're not in the market for depth forwards any more. We have 13 on the roster now. If we swing for a big fish, we would have to move out 1 or 2.

You got it real backwards here. Maybe you’re trying to do some reverse psychology here but every team not named Winnipeg easily declines.

No it's outright ridiculous to think that Winnipeg is going to take back two goalies in one deal. It's plain silly.

While the other two deals offer little value and don't give three Jets anything they need now or compensate them for a full year of retention.

The OP always does these troll ACGM's.

I would have to agree with Windjammer here. How does any of these trades help Winnipeg now or in the future? Vanacek is the only NHL ready player and he is not that good, at best a backup. The futures are decent, but again, Winnipeg doesn't have time to wait, especially when they are giving up a Vezina caliber goalie, a 1C and a top 6 winger. I may be completely wrong, but I personally think this ACGM while a good attempt was made and with good intentions, really puts Winnipeg back even farther. I just don't see a single trade here where Winnipeg doesn't lose big time. The best player in all of these coming to Winnipeg in Firkus and even he is still years away and being a prospect. His ceiling or potential is unknown.

Show me any trade ever where a goalie returns this many assets, let alone a rental one at that. Fact of the matter is, big time rentals don’t normally bring in a haul fans expect. See Taylor Hall 1 year removed from a hart trophy, Timo Meier last year. Fiala the year before and the latter 2 were RFAs. I would seriously dampen your expectations if you think any of these 3 players will bring a winning trade back imo. I’ll happily be wrong if and when but until then I seriously doubt any of these guys have the trade value Win fans think they have.

Timo Meier went for an absolute haul. San Jose fleeced NJ in that one and I am a Devils fan. Their is no haul in this Helle trade. The 5th and 3rd are statistically unlikely to make the NHL. The 2nd usually produces a middle 6 or middle pairing Defenceman. Vanacek is not good and a backup on any team. Daws and Foote will also not be top tier players. So where is the haul?

Nothing is a fore gone conclusion, but just look at the numbers. Daws had one decent year in the AHL albeit small sample size of 21 games. Last year his numbers were not very good. Now, i do not know New Jerseys AHL players, so maybe that is just a product of a poor team around him and maybe he will turn out to be a starter in the league.

Foote's numbers are not great for a guy who went in the first round. Like I said, they aren't bad, I figure middle 6 players. Jets are deep at forward, left defence and goalie prospects. These 2 just don't move the needle. Not that they are bad. It just doesn't fill a need.

Functioning eyes you say? Would you please tell me then how many Utica Comets games you've watched over the last two years?
