This would make more sense if you were offering prospects on par with Tomasino or Pärssinen.

Or if you realized there's a difference in value between a player with term like Josi, and a rental like Nylander.

Or that TOR isn't negotiating from a position of strength in a trade with NSH, due to the Leafs being in cap hell.

Or if NSH perennially had a bottom of the NHL prospect pool like TOR, instead of having a top ten one.
