He’s turned his career around, yes. But he’s still not worth $9M per year. At most $6.5M - making him the definition of overpaid.

The only player I’d have a conversation about not possibly being on here is Huberdeau. You can’t judge him on that salary and last years production because his contract extension didn’t kick in till this season. He could still bounce back and be a 100 point player in a new coaching system and then the contract isn’t really overpaid. I’d put an asterisk by him on this one

Think some of these are a miss.. Werenski was injured majority of the season last year so not sure we can call him overpaid yet and Gaudreau was on a new team that was not a very good team.
