Sam Bennett has to be on this team. Every fan of every team that played against him in the playoffs now hate him. Dirtiest and most malicious player I have seen in a long time. I am confident he is going to get beat up BADLY this regular season for the crap he pulled in the playoffs. Players were too afraid of the consequences of their retribution during the playoffs. I think Bennett is going to have a very LONG season this year.

Reaves beats people up but is he really annoying?

Nah Bunting is like an annoying little fly. He is annoying but he doesn't do anything. Wilson is like an annoying bear. He will rip your head off.

Maybe Bunting over Kostin (but I haven't seen him play, so I could be wrong)

I think the fighting + chirps probably would make him annoying to play against. For whatever silly reason I want to keep it under the cap / 23 man roster. If not, bunting would swap out for reaves 100%

Kostin is big, physical, fights and gets into it after the play but is overall a pretty clean player.

Swapped out Kostin and Reaves for Bunting and Pezetta. I’ve never watched Pezetta but I feel like any highlight I’ve seen of his is a fight

I really wanted to get him on the roster, but I felt like Kane, Marchand and Wilson all beat him out. If I wasn’t going for cap compliant he would for sure be on there

How's Kane annoying though? I get chirping makes you annoying to play but, how's that any worse than Bert grabbing onto someone's stick in the middle of the ice and trying to break it on the bench?

I could be wrong on this as I don’t regularly watch Bertuzzi, but I think Kane is more intimidating physically than bertuzzi, possibly the “scarier to fight” out of the two as well. I also think if you’re elite-level chirping it might be just as annoying as someone stealing your stick and trying to break it. The chirps are all game long every game.

Again I haven’t watched bertuzzi often so I could be underestimating his pest-level

Kane only picks on the guys who he thinks he's tougher than (Micheal Bunting as an example that Kane avoided when he got the s**t kicked out of him) whereas Bert goes into a bigger and better Marchand role where he'll chirp you but he'll also do things to piss you off

Fair points. I don’t think that’s always the case with Kane, he’s gone against reaves a few times before if I’m not mistaken. It does seem pretty common for these types of players to be more selective the older they get though. I tossed up a poll to let the people decide on that spot
