Honestly have u not been watching hockey trades. Teams take risks Briere would not make this trade if he wasnt certain Nylander would extend there and in this case Toronto is losing as they are sending a better forward and 2 good depth pieces for an extra year of Konecny yea no lul

As rn Philly has good forward depth especially with Couturier coming back, they got a good goalie tandem and if they add Dumba a pretty good Dcore.

Cause rn they have to many good pieces to try and tank and it wont be easy to move all of them with this flat cap

So a team that finished 7th worst last year is getting back a player coming off of 2 back surgeries and traded their #1 defenseman without replacing him and signed a bunch of depth free agents. They aren’t adding Dumba. Most insiders think they will be a bottom 3 team this year I think they are bottom 5 minimum and both the GM and POHO say they are openly rebuilding and you think they aren’t? Good take😂

If u look at that teams construction they have good depth and despite the poor results last year with the additions and Coutourier coming back things could change and u could see them compete for a WC spot. Look at Bertuzzi came back from back surgery did well

Yeah that’s just not true. Forward core is average at best, D core is terrible. Goalie tandem is solid. This team will be bottom 10 at best, don’t kid urself ur not smarter than every insider out there and the actual flyers fans lol. The team finished 7th and got worse that doesn’t equal better results
