That trade is pretty backwards for DAL, Hanley is a solid 7th d-man, and they'll need him. Wolansky likely never plays a game. Already have Smith on the bench, and if Stankoven can play, that also puts Steel on bench

That is a strange trade. Columbus doesn't need depth defense in the slightest, and TFW is about twenty layers deep on the forward depth chart (albeit Columbus is very deep at the moment).

Sleepyhead there probably does need to get traded as a depth forward has he's has enough talent to be a bottom 6 but blocked here in Columbus but depth D isn't what we need right now. Like I would take picks don't get me wrong but this is a very unique trade proposal as it really doesn't work for either team.

Not sure why Dallas would give up a very solid 7th D-man option plus two draft picks for a player just to scratch him?
