Zegras would likely want the barzal bridge which was 3x7 million. Drysdale would sign for 2 million for 1 year, not 3

If I'm Zegras I'm asking for at least as much as Terry got if not more. Not saying it's fair (Terry has WAY outperformed Zegras and is a more complete player), but that's just probably what ends up happening. Zegras is gonna want that super-star $

He's got a super star skillset, but he hasn't put it on display for a full season yet. Reminds me A LOT of MacKinnon's first few years. He's still gonna be a great player no matter what, but its whether he can push himself to that next level.

Hughes contract is Z's ceiling. I suspect he gets a Suzuki deal, but we're talking a 2 mill difference (62 vs 64 million)

Suzuki got paid a bit more for his leadership qualities than his on ice play (not saying he isn't a great player, but the reasons he is wearing the C also factored into his contract). Zegras however spent a game and a half in the box this season and really showed he let his temper get the better of him. I expect between 7.5 and 8 AAV for 8 years.

Drysdale really doesn't have a leg to stand on, and he's a 10.2 RFA, so he gets what we give him and that's just that.

Terry is going to be coming in around 7.5 AAV I think.
