As a Sabers fan I feel for the Flames Fans it seems like this is the new team that no one wants to play for. I were the Flames GM I would use the Sabers Model and trade for local players or people fighting to stay in the NHL. If I where going to trade for a Saber I would go for Krebs and start the rebuild/retool from there.

Tuch is the hart and soul of the team and in the unofficial captain. So what ever they would give up it would hurt and cripple the team. Just for Tuch I would say it would start with Huberdeau with retention, Hanafina, and 1st

Less than zero reason for WSH to make that trade. With retention Kuznetsov will cost a lot more than a mid-2nd and career AHLer.
